Clean and spacious room, well-equipped and close to the center. Breakfast was delicious and generous, with options for Sri Lankan cuisine. Helpful host assisted with train tickets and taxi arrangements. Laundry service provided excellent results.

Cozy, spotless room, with very comfy bed and pillows. The breakfast was marvellous and delicious and the staff was amicable.

So nice to park my fancy car in their free private parking! And I had a lovely time on the terrace, sipping my tea and enjoying the garden. The continental breakfast was just delightful, especially when I didn't have to make it myself.

Oh, and let's not forget the exhilarating experience of having to use the free WiFi. So thrilling.

super clean - great location - got great local tips from the owner, and the best part was the delicious breakfast with homemade coconut pancakes. Also - the owner can arrange anything you need - like cooking classes or massages.

For the price we paid, we got excellent value and a great room. The location of the hotel was convenient, just a short walk away from the main street and popular attractions like Little Adam's Peak and the Nine Arch Bridges. The staff, especially Obey, were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Breakfast selection could have been better, maybe offering more variety or options to choose from.

The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile 😊. the room was spacious and clean, and the air conditioning worked really well. the location was ideal, close to the town and within walking distance of the popular 9 Arch Bridge. Plus, they had a water filter so we could drink clean water for free!

The noise at night was quite bothersome, especially during the festival that was happening while we were there. It made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Finally a hotel with free parking! The terrace was a lovely spot to relax. WiFi was decent.

Who needs a national park 50 km away? I was expecting one in the garden.

I had the most wonderful stay at Moon Rock in Ella! The room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities I needed. The shower had excellent water pressure and hot water. The host and his wife were kind and helpful throughout my stay, assisting me with my train tickets and always being friendly. The breakfast they served was delicious, a real treat to start the day. The AC in the room worked perfectly and kept me cool during the warm Sri Lankan days. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay in Ella.
